First and foremost, Rev. Williams, or Pastor Scott as he is called, loves the Lord. He loves the Word of God. He is passionate about people coming to know God in a real and intimate way. A natural jokester, he believes that Christians must enjoy rather than endure their salvation. Secondly, Pastor Scott loves his family. He has been married to his lovely wife Donnette for over 31 years. Their lives have been greatly enriched by their two children Samuel and Jessica. Thirdly, Pastor Scott loves people. He’s fascinated by human developmental stages and has personally mentored a number of people – adults and children alike. He’s particularly drawn to people whom others hesitate to approach. Pastor Scott also loves the church. He joyfully serves as the senior pastor of Memorial Presbyterian Church and looks forward to God’s plans unfolding here. Lastly, Pastor Scott loves learning. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Nyack College, he also earned a Master of Arts degree from Seton Hall University and a Master of Divinity degree from New Brunswick Theological Seminary. He’s currently writing his dissertation to complete his Executive EdD at Seton Hall University. But Pastor Scott believes that education, though important, is no substitute for the power that comes from God’s anointing.
