Day 24 | God Accepts Me

Submitted By, Sister Wanda Lucky Nelson

I love this verse of scripture, for it reminds me of the times in my life, where I have felt that with all my shortcomings and imperfections, God still sees me, knows who I am and loves me just the same.  During these times I experienced false guilt, feeling like I didn’t measure up, that I messed up and felt like giving up.

I thank God when I review my past.  I can see the progress that I’ve made on my spiritual journey.  Truly, I know that it’s by God’s grace and mercy that I am what I am in Him.  God accepts me and is still working with me and gives me the courage to pursue a better me.  Although it’s been a struggle in my personal and spiritual life, God has been faithful and has shown me with His help; I can do all things through Him.  And whatever I commit to His care, He can keep it.

He continues to work on me until the day Christ Jesus returns.  What a spiritual reassurance to know that He’s coming back!

Lenten Prayer

Gracious God, thank you for always being there for me and with me.  You have helped me to move forward and upward.  I praise you for making me fearless and enabling me to be more than a conqueror.  I ask you to continue to work in me and allow me to be used for your service.  This I pray in Jesus’s name, Amen
